We all go through tough times in life. I think there is no one on this planet who can claim they never went through any tough times. Life does not tell us ahead - "Hey, there is a problem coming. These situations can evoke various emotions like fear, grief, anger, and anxiety. And sometimes, these tough situations stay for a long time in life and it can be very frustrating. My experience with 100 days of higher meditations

When it came to higher meditations, my mind always asked me - "why should I spend 1.5 to 2.5 hrs on higher meditations when life is already wonderful with wellness meditation which takes only 30 mins to 45 mins?". This question stopped me from doing higher meditations for many years. I practiced them now and then but was not committed. I learnt higher meditations in 2009 and in these 12 years, I did 100 days of higher meditations only twice when I needed a big miracle. After years of wellness meditation, service and tithing, life has become pretty smooth and my mind resisted the…

6 tips to become regular with meditation

We all know the importance and benefits of meditation and we really want to meditate. But some of us struggle with regularity when it comes to meditation. Our knowledge does not translate into practice. We will find time for exercise, internet browsing, travel, books , entertainment, time pass but not for meditation. This happened to me multiple times in my spiritual journey of 12 years and those times frustrated me. For me, meditation is a need. It is not a luxury or an optional pursuit. If I don't meditate a day, I feel my day to be incomplete. So, inability to meditate felt like…

Hi All. Myself Gayathri, age 43. I was an Assistant professor in department of Electrical and Electronics engineering in a private engineering college in Chennai. I took a break in 2018 when my daughter started 10th. Initially everything was fine as I engaged myself in attending online classes. Then I had to concentrate more on my daughter. I had to take her to coaching classes. So I discontinued online classes. When the pandemic and lockdown started slowly, problems started creeping in. I was going in to depression, losing weight, was fighting with my family members, panicking for silly things. No one was there to…

My experience with 100 days of Meditation

This blog is contributed by Suchitra With our beloved️ Guru's Grace, I could successfully complete 100 consecutive days of meditation. I, thus write this with happiness and satisfaction and am excited to share my journey of successfully completing 100 days of meditation. Initially, my goal was to do 41 days continuously (because 41 days make a habit ...) but this changed as I became increasingly hooked on the energy and peace I received with consistent meditation of two consecutive weeks into my goal. I assure you this was not a cake walk as it took a huge effort to achieve and was nothing short of…

My journey with visions during meditation

When I first did my Arhatic Prep-2 class in 2009, arhatic meditation completed and the teacher asked if anyone would like to share their inner experiences they had while meditating. It was a huge class of some 200+ people. Almost 10 people shared their experiences. One person said he saw the vision of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Another person said he saw blue color. Another said he saw peacock feathers. And, there I was, sitting depressed because I just slept through out my meditation and I had none of these experiences.I thought I am the least spiritual person on this planet and all the people who…

How Meditation helped me in my career

The other day, my colleague came to me and asked something like - "Can you tell me your strategies to handle office politics? I am tired and fed up. You seem to be good at managing different situations."Hearing this, my ego boosted and I gave him good 30 minutes talk on different strategies. Then an inner voice said - "Hey, were you always this smart ? Don't you remember how your career was before you started your meditation journey?" I started my software career in 2008. I hated the project in which I worked. I hated my colleagues and especially my manager. I thought…
