7 lessons I learnt from my ill-health

I have been dreaming since 7 years to visit a religious place. I am mad about this place and I hoped someday I will be able to visit it. Finally, that day came on October 25th 2022 and I travelled with excitement and gratitude. I stayed there for almost a week. I was lost in devotion and had tears of joy. Trip ended and I came back with the dreams of permanently settling down in this place someday in future. I was flying and was lost in my sweet, little dreams. And then, "teacher life" sent me an unforgettable lesson and brought me back…

10 things I loved about Antaryatra 2022

Recently, IWC conducted AntarYatra(Read more about this event here). After covid, this is the first spiritual retreat I attended and I loved the experience. Here are the 10 things I loved about this event.(These are not the only things I loved but to keep the blog simple, I limited myself to 10 things). Time Management: Some days before the event started, Ruchi Sanjil published the detailed schedule of the event. We all have seen many schedules and we know that in a group event, schedules are not followed as planned. But I am amazed that in AntarYatra, schedule is executed as planned. There is…

Life with and without spiritual tools

Recently, our car went into service. My husband and I had to travel to a place. So, we went by our bike. While going, I did not observe much as I was in the hurry of reaching my destination. But while coming back, it was around 10:30 PM and I noticed several things. This journey has clearly taught me how life will be with and without spiritual tools. The route we took is the same route that we travelled many times before but I never noticed much as I went in a car and I was in my own paradise. Now, I experienced the…

Understanding Expectations

A few days back, I was sitting with a sad face. My son came and asked me what happened, why am I looking so dull and sad.I replied, that I read a book on wish fulfillment. In that book, they discussed the techniques to fulfill our wishes. To try it out, I made a wish that my husband should arrange a candlelight dinner. I chose this wish, because, in the book, it is mentioned to make a wish initially which is not regular and at the same time not very difficult so that the reader can build confidence that the techniques given in the…

How understanding can transform our life?

Some months back, I was talking to an 8-year-old child. She was angry that her mother has beaten her and she was complaining to me. Her mother is also beside her. She did not stop the child from complaining. I felt happy that mother gave the child enough freedom to vent out her emotions(this is rare). I listened to the child's complaint and our conversation went as below. I- I understand your pain. Do you know my mother also beat me when I was a child?Child- Your mother is a bad person. (She was angry with my mother also).I- My mother was going through…

My experience with Psychotherapy for Domestic Violence

Though I have been healing since 2009, I think my serious journey as a professional healer started in 2022. Now, I am able to do more healings and understand the impact of healing. In this blog, I would like to share my experience of healing a domestic violence case. When we are in spiritual journey, our fears reduce or become zero. My fears also reduced greatly but still, there are some fears inside me and one of the fears I have is domestic violence. I cannot imagine or see such scenarios even in movies. It is frightening and painful for me to deal with…

7 things that helped me in my tough time

We all go through tough times in life. I think there is no one on this planet who can claim they never went through any tough times. Life does not tell us ahead - "Hey, there is a problem coming. Stay alert." Tough times like job loss, health issues, relationship problems etc. come suddenly when we least expect them. They are like surprise tests in school. These situations can evoke various emotions like fear, grief, anger, and anxiety. And sometimes, these tough situations stay for a long time in life and it can be very frustrating. So, what to do in these situations? My husband…

Are we learning our lessons?

Some months back, I was conversing about someone with my husband and remarked - ''Why does this person repeat the same mistakes again and again?". To this, my husband said - "Forget about this person. What about us? Are we not repeating our mistakes?" His observation surprised me and made me reflect. Is it true that I am repeating my mistakes? To find out the answer to this question, I started tracking all the instances that disturb me emotionally. What makes me angry or sad or jealous or stressed or in summary 'unspiritual'? I tracked my negative emotions and reasons that triggered them diligently…

3 great benefits I received from Wellness Meditation

Namaste all. I wish to share my experiences of wellness meditation. I am part of 'Daily Meditation' whatsapp group and meditate regularly with the recordings of Geetanjali mam. Last week, my daughter and husband got infected with covid. Both were advised home quarantine. The entire week was very hectic with their fever, visiting hospital and taking care of them. The hospital is a bit far too. It was only me who would accompany them to the hospital. They got infected in 2 days interval. So each of  their condition was different. Home quarantine for 2 people made me physically very tired. But every day…
